Project Scope.

The local shellfishing community was going through a particularly tough time following the effects of Brexit and COVID. To support the industry and boost local sales we devised and managed a summer-long campaign using online and traditional advertising, animated video creation, a web-microsite and Gallery magazine readers competition.

DISCOVER YOUR SHELLFISH SIDE

We created a series of fun and informative videos outlining the reasons to buy and eat local shellfish. Scripting, designing, animating and applying music we covered… shellfish facts and figures, where to buy and how to prepare and eat

We devised and managed an on & offline advertising campaign using Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to provide a feast of content including ads, videos and carousels linking to recipes from top chefs, nutritional information and essentially… where and when to buy

WEB MICROSITE

The key Call-to-action for all advertising was to drive viewers to a microsite within Genuine Jersey, with everything you need to know about local shellfish preparation, recipes, the benefits of buying local, low-food miles and online maps of where to buy from shops, vans and direct from the fishermen.

GALLERY COMPETITION

As a further lure to spread the word about how delicious locally caught shellfish  is we ran an article and competition in conjunction with Gallery magazine entitled Win a Shellfish spectacular. The amazing prize being James Gordon of Sumas preparing a Jersey Shellfish Spectacular for up to four people in the comfort of their own home including selected wine.
